Dr Vlad Saravolac
MBChB, BSc (Hons), MD, FRACGP
Dr Vlad graduated medical school from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in 2006, working in a variety of fields across hospitals in Scotland including Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Paediatric Medicine and General Medicine. Relocating to Australia in 2014, he commenced 5 years of employment as an Emergency Department Doctor, more recently as the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) at Port Douglas and Mt Gambier Hospitals.
For the past four years he has been working as a GP registrar at Clifton Medical Centre and Wyalla Medical Practice and we are now excited to welcome him as a GP at Newport Family Doctors! With a wealth of knowledge across a variety of medical fields he will be an invaluable addition to our team of doctors.
Outside of work, Dr Vlad enjoys keeping fit by ways of swimming, cycling and skiing and is a keen fisherman and travel enthusiast. He is also a big fan of the F1 and playing the guitar!
Dr Vlad is currently accepting new and existing patients 3 days per week.
