Dr Melita Cullen

Dr Melita Cullen completed by her BSc (Hons) and MBBS at the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Having done multiple years as a junior doctor and registrar in paediatrics in hospitals in NSW and Queensland, Dr Cullen completed both a Diploma in Child Health and Acute Paediatric Life Support. On being transferred to Redcliffe Hospital, Dr Cullen and her husband decided the Redcliffe Peninsula was the ideal place to raise their 2 children and she made the move to the more family friendly career of General Practice.
Dr Cullen has always enjoyed all areas of medicine and it is in the General Practice setting that she is able to work to her full potential.
She enjoys a mixed practice of general medicine with a special interest in child and adolescent health, child development, gender and sexual diversity and primary health care for children with complex medical needs.
Dr Melita unfortunately has her books currently closed and is not taking new patients.
