Dr Gavin Williams
BSc, MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Gavin Williams is a Redcliffe local, who graduated from ANU Medical School in Canberra and did his post graduate training in North Queensland.
Dr Williams has done extensive work in rural areas of Queensland & NSW providing care to local communities in emergency medicine as well as general practice.
Dr Williams has additional training in skin cancer medicine, and has years working in a dedicated skin cancer clinic as well as undertaking further training in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. He has completed courses affiliated with the University of Queensland in primary and advanced skin cancer surgery and skin cancer medicine. Dr Williams is also a designated aviation medical examiner (DAME) and is available for aviation medicals in the practice.
When not at work, Dr Williams loves spending time with his young family and enjoys camping, fishing & motor sports.
Dr Williams is the principal GP and clinical lead of Newport Family Doctors and is currently welcoming new patients.
