Dr Jamie Moore

Dr Jamie is a warm, supportive and empathetic General Practitioner who has a strong belief in bringing a bit of individuality to every consult. He can be found wearing colourful scrubs Monday to Thursday at Newport Family Doctors for new and existing patients.

Dr Jamie is a north Brisbane local having lived in the area since 2010 after relocating from northern NSW. He completed medical school at UQ in 2020 and his junior doctor training in the public system locally at Redcliffe Hospital.

Dr Jamie has worked as GP rurally in Yeppoon in central Queensland as well as here locally on the Redcliffe Peninsula and achieved Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2025. He enjoys all areas of general practice, with particular interests in geriatrics, youth mental health, paediatrics, young adult care and chronic disease management.

Outside of his medical career, Dr Jamie enjoys reading fantasy, ice hockey, motorsport, dungeons and dragons and spending time with his wife and two dogs at the beach.
